I was born in Switzerland where everyone learns how to knit, crochet and etc.
Mom taught me how to knit at age 4. In college for Christmas my younger sister sent me a beautiful scarf she had knitted.
Not to be out done by little sis, I picked up the knitting needles and have never put them down.
I was dignosed with Thyroid cancer, which led into lymphoma, then kidney cancer, breast cancer, and skin cancer.
Through out my journey with cancer I never had to go to counseling because the knitting relieved any stress I built up in my body. And when I had no energy to move I still could produce beautiful items with my hands, which made every day special for me.
I started out knitting for my family and friends for free. Once all the kids grew up I discovered craft fairs which I really enjoyed and gave me more time to bond with my daughters.
Over time as I got more ill I discovered Ebay and I sold my items on Ebay for about 12 years until a friend told me about Etsy.
I got a slow start on Etsy because of illness, a massive car accident and etc.
A kind woman wrote me and told me that the key to letting people know your there is to expand your cirlce. I have been working on this ever since.
I am now in the process of having ready made items for Babies, toddlers, children,teens, Adult Men and Women.
I will also be selling some of my reborn babies I have made in the future in my store.
I worked on special orders for the last couple of years, but have decided just to make my store bigger and sell ready made items instead so we'll see how that goes.
